Back in October...

In July, our new baby will be joining our family of three (plus two cats), who presently look like this.

Big-sister-to-be, Miriam (who still fits into the hallway cupboard):
Mommy (the one on the right!):

And new baby makes four:

As an aside, this is how I had planned to tell Josh the news when I found out on October 27th. The little note was supposed to be sneaked into our mailbox where Josh would find it since he always gets the mail. But I was much too impatient to wait, and instead left the note on his pillow with the positive pregnancy test. However, it took him so so long to get ready for bed, that again I grew impatient, and instead gave the test stick to Miriam to bring to the kitchen to show daddy. This plan also did not work out, since Josh did not understand the meaning behind the stick! Finally, after explanations and dissuading Miriam from touching the peed-on end of the stick, we were all on the same page and very excited.
